Oh how I love summer. I have been having a wonderful time with my kids this summer. I am worse than them in the last month of school, I am counting down the days to where we don’t have anywhere to be and we can do what ever we want. I love the endless days, the sprinkler, the road trips, the celebrations, the list goes on and on. I have been doing my very best to document their summer, from the big adventures we have to the every day things that are so great when you are a kids. From time we spend as a family to the quiet moments they get to them selves (which doesn’t happen very often when you have 3 siblings!)

There are so many things that scream summer. Drinking from the hose is always popular in our back yard, and once one starts, they are all of a sudden thirsty. I remember doing this when I was a kid and then running back to the game I was playing! They are at such a great age and can all play easily together and all have a great time. 

And of course bike riding. We officially have all four kids on two wheels. We can go anywhere now. Henry, the youngest of my children, not only is on two wheels, but immediately wanted to start trying the jump we had built. There is no stopping him now!

And it has been HOT, at least for a couple of days, and that means the sprinkler comes out. This means lots of laughs. I love the sprinkler because it is something everyone can enjoy, it is quick, easy and all about summer. 

And last but not least, cool summer evenings. Out in for a walk, staying up later than usual just because it is so nice out and we are all having a great time. These are just a few of the reasons I love summer. My next share will be one of our quick road trip vacations that was a blast.
