Our family had an amazing week last week in Calgary.  The weather was beautiful and we were able to get our almost every night. Henry found a new playground with Grandma and he was so excited about it we had to go check it out with all the kids.  He was so excited to share his “HUGE PARK.” It was a great park. I love playgrounds where all my kids can have a great time, there was something for everyone. The following night we were able to go out and have a campfire dinner (complete with marshmallows!) It was a great night too.  We had so much fun as a family and the food was amazing – everything tastes better when cooked outside. Our week took a little slide when Henry was a little under the weather, nothing serious but I definitely know he is not well when he falls asleep in the middle if the day. Her perked up the next day and the rest of our week was awesome. It is so amazing to me to watch my kids get bigger and be able to do so much more on their own. From Henry roasting is own marshmallows and hotdogs to Oliver helping to build our new planters my kids become more capable and more incredible every day. I am really trying to make images of my kids every day, and I am finding it is really helping me get to know them even better. I am watching for parts of their lives that make them special and unique. I am also watching for what brings them together, what connection they make and how that contributes to our original family dynamic.
