Sometimes clients ask us if we can sneak a family picture in during a newborn or child’s portrait session.  Sneak a family picture? Of course! We explain to them that we ALWAYS include siblings and parents (unless they choose not ) because we feel that it’s important to document everyone – even if the session was booked with a specific purpose.   Origins Studio is your family photographer.

This particular sweetheart was photographed in studio as a newborn, again for her sixth month milestone and we’ll see them all later this year for her one year birthday celebration!  We love being a family’s photographer because the relationship continues to build trust with every session.  Imagine the comfort our clients feel (especially shy children) having this connection. A good rapport between a photographer and client becomes priceless yielding many relaxed and natural expressions in every photo gallery. Honestly, most of our sessions become very social and it’s not uncommon to have our clients feel as comfortable as they would at their  friend’s home.  When that happens, we’ve just had the perfect session.
